Master T has just moved into his new room. I have bought him some great Fireman Sam bed covers which he loves and calls his “nee-nor bed” but was worried that he’d be a little afraid in his new big room. We received a Pabobo Super Nomade night light to try out at the perfect time.
When the night light arrived I was a little surprised how small it was (don’t know what I was expecting!) but in actual fact it is the perfect size for Master T to hold in his hand and carry easily. The light is sort of egg shaped and has a little face which Master T really likes. It glows a nice blue color and is surprisingly bright without actually being a distracting light.
The Super Nomade has a light sensor built in so it only shines when it is dark – this means that it actually only needs charging about once a month and you don’t have to worry about turning it off. Another great thing about the light is that it can be placed in the bed rather than having to be plugged into a socket. This means Master T can have it up by his pillow.
The light is charged by mini USB so no bulky plug or transformer to worry about either.
I am really impressed with the light and Master T won’t go to bed without it now!
The light comes in two colours – taupe and blue-green but both glow with the lovely blue light.
We are lucky enough to have one to give away too all you need to do is fill out the Rafflecopter form below.

I was sent a Lush Therapy Massage Bar to test and review
I don’t know about you but I love having massages even if it is a DIY one from your lovely husband!
Therapy (￡6.25 for 65g)… Is a moisturising massage bar with cocoa and shea butters to make skin feel softer and improve elasticity thus helping to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars as well as being an all round fabulous product to keep the whole body in tip top condition perfect for expectant mums! With a blend of organic sweet orange oil, lavender oil and neroli, Therapy is also 100% certified organic
We’ve never used a massage bar before, normally we use cream or oil, but we were pleasantly surprised with the bar, I even gave Gizmodad a massage.
Therapy smells gorgeous, even through the bag you could smell it. It is really easy to use and left my skin feeling very smooth the best bit about it was there was no greasy feeling.
I think that because it is 100% certified organic that it is great value for money and would recommend it.
We liked the Therapy Massage Bar so much that Gizmodad has told me to go and buy another!
We have 5 Therapy Massage Bars and Tin to giveaway. To be in with a chance of winning 1 of the 5 Therapy Massage Bars all you need to do is leave me a comment below saying you would like to be entered.
This giveaway is open to UK residents only and will close 11.59pm Monday 5th November 2012
Miss C is scared of the dark, so we are always looking for ways to make the dark less scary for her. Pabobo Dream Theatre came to our rescue. It arrived the day we went on holiday so we put it in her hand luggage and couldn’t wait to try it that night.
The Pabobo Dream Theatre is design to calm and soothe your baby while getting them to drift off to sleep, the light turns off automatically after 45 minutes and the music after 15 minutes. It also has a sleep mode so if you activate the sleep mode when your baby cries it will turn on to sooth your baby.(we did turn it on but the girls didn’t wake in the night so didn’t really test this in a normal setting, when I pretended to cry it turned on so was impressed)
Miss C couldn’t wait to put it on when she went to bed, it took me a while to work out how to attach the plug to the Dream Theatre but soon realised that it went into the switch. Miss C really liked the Dream Theatre as she enjoyed having the lights projecting on the ceiling. Miss E liked the music, I have to say I also enjoyed the music but preferred the nature sounds as it was very calming.
The Pabobo Dream Theatre costs £64, I think it’s a lovely night light and when brought for a baby will last them till their toddler years.

We were really pleased to have the chance to review some products from crayola and pink lining recently. Crayola have just released a new range of dry wipe materials. Toby is completely in to drawing so he was really excited to receive a reversible black/white board with some dry wipe crayons. The crayons come in their own little box with a built in sharpener and cloth to remove the crayon from the board. He has had hours of fun with the board – no more searching for endless bits of paper for him to scribble on. What I like most about this is the fact that not only do the crayons easily wipe off the board they also easily wipe off of the walls, the doors and the carpet which Toby seemed to think were equally in need of some artwork.
We also received some dry wipe activity cards which we have left at nanna cez’s house for the preschoolers to play with. They are great for practising drawing shapes and letters and again are brilliant as they can be used again and again.
Along with the drywipe products we received a little back pack from pink lining. Toby absolutely loves it. He carries around his crayons and his trains in it and has become completely attached. When I first saw the back pack I was a little concerned that it was rather small but in actual fact it is the perfect size for a two year old to carry around a few of his favourite things. The back pack is made of a wonderful wipe clean fabric (especially useful if your child has dirty sticky hands like Toby always does!) With a lovely subtle red buses patter on it. It has a sturdy zip and adjustable straps of a nice length for a preschooler. It makes a real change from the rather gaudy character back packs which tend to be the alternative product on the market. We were really pleased and impressed with the back pack.
Our readers have the exciting opportunity to win a pink lining back pack in either the buses or stars design filled with the crayola products we reviewed
To be in with a chance of winning this brilliant prize just leave me a comment telling me what your little ones like to draw.
This giveaway ends midnight 4th October 2012
I was sent a selection of Sharpie products to review. We were sent markers, highlighters and mini highlighters. I was in my element as I am a pen lover, I love anything to do with stationary.
A fun and funky addition to any pencil case is a Sharpie. With everything from bright neon highlighters, to Sharpie Fine Point markers in 24 bright and bold colours.
I love the Sharpie markers that we were sent as they write on lots of different surfaces and have come in handy writing on the girls pre school bits especially their lunch bags and rucksacks.
The markers will come in handy when we do crafts such as paper mâché as they will be able to do outlines after painting. I also use them at work to do posters.
The highlighters are brilliant too, I have nabbed the mini ones to keep in my handbag but the others are used for our arts and crafts. The girls love the vibrancy of the highlighters and they are easy to handle.
The people at Sharpie are giving 2 of my readers a chance to win a Sharpie bundle worth £50
To enter leave me a comment telling me what you favourite Sharpie colour is.

We were sent a copy of The World of Popagami Animal Fun Activity Book to make some Pop – Ettes which are a collection of innovative and fun origami animals that you turn into a puppet.
Caitlyn and Ellie really enjoy doing crafts so they had a great time making them.
What we love about Popagami is that your imagination is only the limit as to what you can do with the puppets.
We also love the fact that the book contains 2 plain pictures so that you could photocopy and let your kids decorate their own Pop -Ettes. You can also go to the website http://www.popagami.com/index.html and download copies for free.
The Popagami book contains prints of animals and comes with instructions as to how you fold them to make the puppets. I found following the instructions quite difficult but Gizmodad was brilliant following them and became the Pop – Ettes king.
Ellie’s birthday is in a couple of weeks and we are going to be using the Pop -Ettes as party decorations. Here are a few ideas to get you going
We have been given 4 copies of Popagami to giveaway
All you need to do is leave a comment below telling me which Pop – Ette is your favourite.
This giveaway will close 30th September at midnight and only open to UK
Ellie was sent some gorgeous Flopsy Purple shoes from Inch Blue to put through their paces as an idea for a present for Easter.
They come in a little clear bag with handles which I thought was a nice touch and the shoes are so soft. With many shoes we have tried we have a problem with them fitting as Ellie has quite small feet for her age.
Caitlyn was rather jealous of Ellie’s new shoes as she loved the rabbits on the front.
I was dubious about the shoes at first as thought that now Ellie is walking there isn’t much need for soft leather shoes. How wrong was I? Ellie wears them in the house most of the time as she is prone to slipping if she is just wearing soaks, she also wears them when we go out in the buggy as I feel they are more comfortable for her to wear and also she has worn them at playgroup and got lots of comments saying how cute her shoes were.
What we like
- The softness of the shoes
- Ellie can’t get them off which is a huge plus point for me
- Gorgeous designs
- Price is slightly high at £18 but the cuteness all their designs overcomes the price.
We have been given 2 pairs of Flopsy shoes to giveaway
